Our
folk dance performance reflected most cultures represented by the
residents of Shamokin. We made very quick folk costume changes
from culture to culture in order to introduce the cultures more
vividly. It was a one-hour performance.
We started with two dances from Poland. |

The highlight of our festival dancing was audience participation. We danced 2 dances with some volunteers from the audience. |

Posing with the participants of the first dance with the audience (Jim is taking this photo, so he's not in the picture). |

Posing with the participants of the second dance with the audience - more children joined us. Unfortunately, we don't have a photo of this dance, which was a greeting dance, and a lot of fun! |
