No Ordinary Saturday

Almost all kids enjoy going outside to play,
When they think of what to do on a Saturday.
But here at SU we like to do a little more
And we cannot wait until you walk through the door!
Our room is full of experiments for you to see;
A scientist is who you soon will be.
Exploring new things which will make you think;
You'll be so interested with each activity, you won't want to blink!
The possibilities are endless and full of fun,
You'll be sad to see when the day is done.
So why not take time to learn something new,
Come check out Saturday Science with a friend or two!

- Jessica Zigarelli, Susquehanna Class of 2012

Sit down before fact as a little child, be prepared to give up every preconceived notion, follow humbly wherever and to whatever abysses Nature leads, or you shall learn nothing.  Thomas Henry Huxley (1860 in a letter to Charles Kingsley)

Saturday Science is a science enrichment program for children and their parents and is sponsored by Pennsylvania Space Grant and Susquehanna University.  The sessions are free and taught by university and public school educators.  The students must be accompanied by their parents throughout the session.

Please feel free to share this with anyone who might be interested in our program!  Also, check us out on Facebook

See you soon!
