DIALOGUE 8: PROTOSTOMATA II -PARACOELOMATA AND ECDYSOZOA I. Come prepared with information from all the data sheets of the Paracoelomata and part of the Ecdysozoa (Priapulida, Kinorhyncha, Loricifera, Nematomorpha, and Nematoda). Please review the information about the Acoelomate Eutrochozoans (Platyhelminthes and Nemertea).
THE COMMON HOUR
GAME 3. Please come prepared with information from last week. The categories will be TAXONOMY, ANATOMY/STRUCTURE, PHYLOGENY/LIFE HISTORY. As before, much of this information comes from the data sheets, Holt (2006), Darwin (1859), cultures, slides, and preserved specimens from the last week of class. We will provide you with a clean taxonomy. You may use nothing else.

ACTIVITY 8: PROTOSTOMATA II -ACOELOMATE EUTROCHOZOA, PARACOELOMATA, AND ECDYSOZOA I. Use the guide sheets for Acoelomate Eutrochozoa, the Paracoelomata (Gastrotricha, Rotifera, Acanthocephala) and Ecdysozoa I (Nematomorpha, and Nematoda). Find slides, preserved and living animals.
THE COMMON HOUR
DIALOGUE 9: PROTOSTOMATA III -ECDYSOZOA II. Come prepared with information from all of the data sheets of the rest of the Ecdysozoa (Onychophora, Tardigrada, and the Arthropoda, a clade also known as the Panarthropoda).

DIALOGUE 10: ARCHAEA AND EUBACTERIA I. Come prepared with all data sheets of the Archaea, and some of the Eubacteria (Proteobacteriae, Spirochaetae, and Oxyphotobacteriae).

THE COMMON HOURUNKNOWN 1: You will use a copy of How to Know the Freshwater Algae (we have them in class). Print out a copy of the Alga Data Sheet and bring it with you to class on Friday. Look at the organism and complete the algal data sheet before you attempt the key. Also, be sure to to include a drawing that indicates at least two key characters of the genus and a size bar.
