ALLOPATRIC- Speciation that occurs when two or more populations of a species are geographically isolated from one another and no longer able to interbreed.
SYMPATRIC- Speciation that occurs in populations with overlapping geographic ranges
PERIPATRIC- Speciation that occurs when a new species is formed from a small population isolated at the edge of the larger population's geographic range.
